Conducting comprehensive audits to ensure public safety funds are utilized responsibly. Every tax dollar must be used efficiently to modernize our technology and improve officer training without increasing the burden on taxpayers.

As your Sheriff, I will attend community meetings to engage in real, productive dialogue on resident-led safety initiatives. Your voice is vital to building a Sheriff’s Office that serves everyone and creates a safer county for all of us to live and work in.

I will also be out in the community—conducting business checks, patrolling neighborhoods, talking with residents, assisting Baltimore County on calls, handling courthouse duties, and much more. I am a firm believer that you should not ask others to perform duties you are not willing to do yourself. I lead by example.

Only together can we make Baltimore County the safest place to live in Maryland.

Letter to all Baltimore County Residences

Dear Neighbors,

First, I must give praise to The Most High.

I am a 17-year resident of Baltimore County (Parkville), just like you. I never had any interest in running for political office, but I am tired of hearing police sirens in the distance or watching our county on the news because of increasing crime in our communities. I feel your frustration; I am frustrated just like you. I refuse to sit in my home feeling helpless as crime plagues our communities.

This is our county, and it’s worth fighting for. We must take our county back from these thugs before it becomes an annex to Baltimore City. Neighbors, I will fight for you and our county. I have the experience and know-how; that’s why I decided to run for Sheriff of Baltimore County. I will not pack up and relocate; I will give all that I have to fight for you, my neighbors, and our communities.

To be your sword, shield, and armor, the Board of Elections requires me to get 6,000 signatures from registered Baltimore County voters in order to put my name on the November 2026 ballot because I’m registered as an unaffiliated candidate. However, if you're uncomfortable with, giving out your information and I am unable to get the required signatures, you can still cast your vote for me in November, by writing my name on your ballot. I can win the election as a write-in candidate. I want to be your Sheriff, and I want to fight for you. I cannot win this election without you, and increasing crime in our communities can’t be stopped without you. Restoring the Gold Standard of Service

Baltimore County deserves a Sheriff’s Office grounded in transparency, accountability, and restored public trust. I am a retired Baltimore City Police Officer with 32 years of law enforcement experience, from a generation of officers who prioritized community relations and practiced them every day. On foot patrol, I worked closely with business owners, community leaders, and residents to build strong, positive relationships. I have a 17-point crime reduction plan to help make Baltimore County and its courthouse the safest in the nation. Some of my key initiatives include:

1. Cultivating stronger bonds between our residents and the Sheriff Office through increased transparency.

2. Community appreciation Day:

The Sheriff Office will give out free bookbags, school supplies, coats and much more to the community while serving free grilled food.

3. Restoring departmental staffing to optimal levels to ensure fully functional operations.

4. Establishing a comprehensive youth diversion program that focuses on juveniles that's in the court system facing incarceration for non-serious violent offenses. This initiative provides judges with meaningful rehabilitation alternatives to incarceration, focusing on community service such as maintaining courthouse grounds and professional development through resume building, interview coaching, and financial literacy classes.

5. Elevating safety protocols for judges, staff, and the public within and around the courthouse premises.

6. Partnering with the Baltimore County Police Department to assist with neighborhood patrols and emergency response, effectively reducing 911 wait times.

7. Creating a dedicated forum for judges to discuss and resolve specific courthouse security and safety concerns.

8. Maintaining an open-door policy for all deputies and citizens to share insights and innovative ideas for departmental improvement. I will attend community meetings and making accessibility easy by creating a website where a citizen can leave massages, on a massage board, email, web calls, phone calls, and zoom meetings.

9. Forming a specialized Violence Intervention Unit (VIU) to safeguard high-risk domestic violence survivors with active protective orders. This unit will increased protection for high-risk victims, and increased neighborhood patrols as well as coordinate directly with local police to protect victims from their aggressor.

10 Launching a strategic take-home vehicle program to increase law enforcement visibility and deter local crime.

11. Quick reaction force to respond emergency courthouse situations.
